About Folknharmony

Be warned – We play gritty, stripped-down blues, stomps, laments, parodies, a bunch of folked up rock tunes we like, two-steps, and the occasional doo-wop.

With wit, grit and three part harmonies, the stripped-down acoustic trio Folknharmony finds new spirit in iconic, generational rock, folk and blues songs from the last half century. Fans will hear fresh arrangements of songs they know and love.

Folknharmony performs punctually for patrons on patios or porticos, under pergolas, in parlors, at pubs and in parks. We are also open to new listening environments, including spelling bees, Model UN Conferences, and parties that serve no visible purpose.

We play folk’d up rock tunes you love.

Harmonies

We add harmonies you will tell your grandchildren about.

Guitars

Zach has a Doctorate in Classical Guitar and rips nasty solos. Nancy is pleased as punch to play rhythm guitar and bear witness to the genius and mayhem.

Cajon

Beau gives thump and sizzle with a box drum from Peru called the cajon. Most people who have one use it as an end table.

Percussion

Nancy aches for the egg-shaped shakers, staking her claim for the sake of snake-sound making.

Locals say:

Better get down here quick. Folknharmony never disappoints.”

“The band’s interpretations of well known covers bring the right sort of uniqueness and renewal that can cause listeners to fall in love with the song all over again.”
